Two Parties - One Day

A Hawaiin party wouldn't be complete without a cake with a palm tree on it. (Little sister had to get in on the picture). It's not easy when your oldest and youngest children have birthdays 5 days apart, but we all learn to be flexible and they both had great parties!
The 16th birthday party was too much fun! We had a luau/swimming party. Who knew teenagers could be cool to hang out with. They played sing star, guitar hero, went swimming, and of course ate! Their was a lot of Hawaiin food to eat and we decked out the clubhouse with Hawaiin decor. It was a late night, but a party worth all of the work.

We started out the morning with a 5 year old birthday party. Crafts, musical chairs, freeze dancing, and limbo. What a day! The kids had a ball and the birthday princess was on top of the world.

What could be better than a tinkerbell cake?

I love how they can make cupcakes into a cake now. Serving the kids is so much simpler and there is not yucky mess. Yay!
